Poštorná 1 Production Center – LAMA GAS & OIL s.r.o.


The main production center of LAMA GAS & OIL. Heavy low-sulfur crude oil is extracted here, which is then dehydrated, degassed, and transported in tank trucks to collection tanks for further shipment in rail tank cars to the Kralupy refinery. The center also houses the company's central control room, from which all other extraction centers are remotely controlled.


               8:30 – departure by bus from Mikulov (Hotel Galant)

  9:00–10:00 – excursion

10:30–11:00 – return to the hotel

Czech Council of WPC Energy z.s.


The Czech Council of WPC Energy z. s. (the "Association") was founded in 2014 as an association of legal entities and individuals engaged in the exploration, extraction, transportation, and storage of oil and natural gas, the processing of oil and petroleum products, biofuels, alternative fuels, petrochemical production, the use of products from this production, and related activities. The Association is financed exclusively from membership fees. Its corporate members are: MERO ČR, a.s., LAMA GAS & OIL s.r.o., ORLEN Unipetrol RPA s.r.o., and the University of Chemistry and Technology. The Czech National Council of the World Petroleum Congress is the Czech branch of the multinational non-governmental organization WPC Energy, which brings together 60 countries producing 96% of the world's energy resources. The highlight of WPC Energy's global activities is the World Petroleum Congress, which is organized once every three years in one of the member countries. The last World Congress took place in September 2023 in Calgary with the active participation of a delegation from the Czech Association.


The main activities of the Association are:

  • creating a forum for sharing scientific, technical, technological, legislative, and economic information in the areas of exploration, extraction, transport, processing, storage, and use of oil, natural gas, petroleum products, and biofuels, with a particular emphasis on long-term sustainability
  • creating a forum for sharing scientific, technical, technological, legislative, and economic information in the field of alternative energy sources (e.g., hydrogen, synthetic fuels, pyrolysis fuels, and plasma gasification), with a particular focus on economic sustainability
  • mediating contact with the World Petroleum Council (WPC Energy) and with the national councils of WPC Energy member countries; passing on the information obtained to interested companies and institutions
  • active participation of Association members in world petroleum congresses
  • professional and material support for students and educational institutions involved in the relevant fields
